Day Trips!

Destination ImagiNation, Inc. and The University of Tennessee have partnered to offer a variety of educational field trips for students attending Global Finals.

Your off campus field trip choices include: The Townsend Mountain Experience, Ripley’s Aquarium (with lunch at location), Dollywood (with meal voucher for lunch) or the team building Mountain Challenge near downtown Knoxville.

Lunch will be provided on each trip. These extra activities should be enjoyed on the day when your team does not have competition. They take between 3 and 6 hours each and require extra fees ranging from $30 to $65 per person.

Tickets are required (and limited). They must be purchased in adavnce at www.shopdi.org.

Airport Transfers

Destination ImagiNation Inc., in cooperation with The University of Tennessee, will make airport transfers available to those purchasing Global Finals housing and meal packages. 

Transfers from Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport to registration and then to your housing locations are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Return transfers from your housing location are available on Sunday only. Service is available for all arriving and departing flights.
